THE OZ BROTHERS

The Oz Brothers presented by Jeff Kortman and Tom Hendricks will be at the Cannon Valley Fair on Saturday, July 3rd from 11:30am to 12:15pm and 3:00pm to 3:45pm on the Free Stage, as well as strolling the grounds for 30 minutes after each performance.

Take a trip down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy’s friends, the Lion and Scarecrow! These lively characters will take you into the story of the Wizard of Oz. Fairgoers will join in the fun by making sound effects, giving suggestions on getting through the twists and turns, and playing the other characters! Everyone will enter the world of make believe only to return home where the heart is.

Musician-Guitarist/Actor Jeff Kortman has been a professional guitarist/musician and makeup man for over 45 years. He has played the Cowardly Lion in Grand Rapids, and judged two musical contest finals at the Judy Garland Museum and Baudette Minnesota’s: Lake of the Woods County Fair.

Actor/Singer Tom Hendricks made his first appearance in 2005 the year the ruby slippers were stolen, he roamed the halls of the Judy Garland museum in rubber boots and a green pullover with two hats stuck together as one to form the humble hayman hat, but now he has played to crowds for eleven years as the brainy Scarecrow.

This show originated at a library in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, home of the Judy Garland Museum.
